Waste management
Waste management
Towards a circular economy
Thanks to the separate collection chains, 97% of waste is processed in local plants and then reintroduced to the market as secondary raw materials, returning again into the production cycle.
This percentage also includes waste that currently cannot be separated or recovered, which becomes Secondary Solid Fuel (SSF), which has obtained the End of Waste qualification. Veritas ensures the treatment, disposal, and valorization of collected materials without resorting to direct incineration of waste, sending only 3% to landfill.
Collection systems
Collection systems
Collection systems are designed according to standards shared with the Municipalities, based on the different characteristics of the territory which express very different needs and requirements, covering almost all the Veneto coastlines, places and art cities (Venice to Chioggia), large portions of agricultural areas, and densely populated areas.

Go to pageSeparate waste collection is a legal obligation and a way to protect nature and the environment in which we all live.
Only by separating the various materials more and better will it be possible to respect the environment, save raw materials, water and energy, limit the emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere, reduce waste and packaging to collect, and contain disposal costs.
Veritas manages the complete waste cycle, from collection to treatment, prioritizing recycling and material recovery and developing communication and information campaigns to raise citizen awareness and encourage virtuous behaviors, thereby reducing the amount of waste produced.
