Veritas was one of the first Italian multi-utilities to adopt a Code of Ethics, a document that defines the company’s core values, in full compliance with laws, principles of fairness and professional integrity, and economic efficiency.
Common behavioral values were therefore established for everyone, highlighting Veritas’ commitment to placing citizens at the center of its actions, protecting the environment, ensuring maximum transparency both internally and externally, and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes.
The provisions of the Code of Ethics govern the conduct of the company’s directors and auditors, managers, employees, consultants, partners, suppliers, and contractors. All are required to comply with its provisions and align their behavior and actions with its principles. Oversight of proper implementation is entrusted to a dedicated body established within Veritas.
